Psalm 78:6-8

New American Standard Bible

^6 (A)So that the generation to come would know, ^(B)the children yet to be born,
That they would arise and ^(C)tell them to their children,
⁷ So that they would put their confidence in God
And ^(D)not forget the works of God,
But ^(E)comply with His commandments,
⁸ And ^(F)not be like their fathers,
A ^(G)stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that ^(H)did not ^[a]prepare its heart
And whose spirit was not ^(I)faithful to God.
